just to get some ducks in a row about the ridiculous thing I'm considering
- would silent protagonists from less freeform/choice-based/dating simmesque/blorbo-creatory games fall under the same rule as customizable ones? the kind you'd still be playing with a lot of headcanon for, but like, there are some canonical rails you'd have to go pretty far off of to throw any major awkward curveballs at potential canonmates
- what's the policy for, like... package deal characters. like, two characters who whether for plural or supernatural reasons inhabit the same body (or something)? what if character B can only actually canonically talk to character A, and nobody else around can hear them? or assuming somebody wanted to play the character B from that scenario separately, would the lack of humanization still apply for characters who canonically don't have bodies? this is a gruesome recombined homunculus of terrible questions I am SO sorry
- how low tech is low tech. are there, like, tractors? pickup trucks? could the town potentially use a mechanic
