[Lulu has been in Jamjarlandia for about a week and it has already become quite apparent that she absolutely cannot be left on her own. Eager, silly thing, she shouts about the moon and destiny and swishes her cape and runs amok in a manner not unlike an unsupervised toddler having eaten two cupcakes for breakfast. She hasn't gotten herself in trouble yet, but that's the key word. Things as they are, strange creatures on the outside of the settlement the newly-appeared residents have made and resources consisting of what they manage to find, it seems inevitable.
And so, when the group splits up to explore their surroundings and gather more food, Oyuundai is on babysitting duty.
It started to get dark not too long ago, which hasn't impeded them at all. As Lulu climbs up forested cliffs and skips along the paths connecting them, a bauble of swirling light she summoned earlier dances and bounces in the air in a wide radius around her. Oyuundai will have to keep up if he likes seeing where he's going, too, because Lulu has a tendency to run up ahead.
At this particular moment in time, she's stopped to crouch over a cluster of mushrooms in the grass, which she examines with her usual dramatic intensity.]
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm... What tremendous specimens. [She picks one and holds it up against the dwindling light.] Perhaps a boon for our selfsame wayward companions!
[This would not be the first time tonight she's picked up something poisonous and said something similar.]
[ This isn't the kind of terrain Oyuundai's used to, but the light makes it easy to track where Lulu is at any given moment, and he keeps up without too much trouble. When she stops to look at the mushrooms, he does so as well, plucking his own from the ground and examining it closely.
Once he's satisfied that he's correctly identified it, he shakes his head. ]
'Tis a lucky find, but not as food. This is a sacred mushroom, and should not be consumed outside of the proper rituals.
[ It's a magic shroom, in other words, and now is not the time for any trips outside the physical. Later, though, is another matter entirely, and Oyuundai puts his mushroom in his bag, and picks a few more for good measure. ]
[She has absolutely no idea what he's talking about.
Nevertheless, she gestures wildly with the mushroom (is the light moving specifically to cast a spotlight on it? jesus christ) as she goes on.]
Truly, the heavens have blessed us upon this day! It is a certain sign of divine favor, to be granted such providence in such a place!
[She finally puts the mushroom away, and picks herself a couple, too, mindful not to let herself get greedy. When she stands, she sets one hand on her hip and points the other in the vague direction of the horizon. Despite a complete lack of wind, her cape is billowing, somehow?]
And certainly as the moon takes Her place in the holy ether overhead, She shall guide us to further of her bounties yet!
[Girl, don't you have, like, a bedtime. Does anything get you to calm down.]
We haven't time to waste!
[Apparently not, because she immediately scrambles forth once more.]

[ oh, she's gone. okay.
Oyuundai stands up from his kneeling position with a sigh, and takes off after Lulu. ]
Surely you realize the trees and mushrooms won't be running off before you can reach them?
[ Because gods know they won't be catching anything that can run off, with as much noise as Lulu makes. ]
