[Witch passes through the kitchen to get herself some coffee early in the morning, sees Sooga hunched over the microwave, and thinks nothing of it as she gives him a little hum of acknowledgment and prepares her morning caffeine in a half-asleep daze.
A short while later, when she returns to the communal kitchen to return her mug (and...a few others; she drinks a lot of coffee, and she's been letting them pile up for a bit), Sooga is still there.
She hesitates—the space station they've found themselves on has offered, among other things, the most advanced tablet devices Witch has ever imagined, and robotics so high-level Witch has been researching them to improve Crow (who perches ever-present by her uncovered eye) since she arrived. Sooga (she does not use the word easily, but they are, for all intents and purposes, friends, by now) has taken it all in stride.
Which is why she pauses at the sight of him just...staring at the microwave.
She gives it a moment. No buttons are pressed. There is no active hum and, after a moment, no beeping reminder of present food.]
