Emmeryn elects to stay in Sinnoh, finding herself a cute little cottage in Floaroma with a guest room for her friends' visits, and a big backyard she uses to babysit a decent number of her adventuring buddies' horrible monster toddlers and run a daycare for people with probably less cross-universal travel obligations. Despite the extraordinary circumstances of her arrival and the, uh, interesting menagerie of locals and visitors she has coming in and out all the time, and also the minor deities living in her house and backyard, her life here is relatively very normal, and she's tremendously happy about it.

[ It'd been awhile since Ventus had set foot into this world, but the blond had meant it when he said that he was planning on coming back. The world full of Pokemon and people he'd met had become more of a home to him than the one within the Land of Departure, as well as the simple fact that he was pretty sure things would be peaceful around here for awhile. Especially since people had their shit sorted out for the time being.

He'd also invited his friends to come along with him and they had presumably decided to follow suit because all three of them wanted to be together.

Either way, it's probably not too much of a surprise that the blond is hurrying to track down familiar faces, and once he finds Emmeryn, he is going to be giving her a very exuberant wave. ]

Emmeryn! Hey, Emmeryn!

[ ... Just in case, you know, she didn't hear him the first time. ]

[Emmeryn isn't ever hard to find; anyone in town would be able to point Ventus towards their ever-eccentric neighbor without too much prompting if all the commotion ever coming from the daycare doesn't attract his attention first.

She's even less hard to find than usual, now, out in the yard where she's in the process of disentangling Melady from a bunch of yarn. A tug, a gentle,] There, there, [and Melady's been freed enough for Emmeryn to give her full attention to the sound of the voice calling her name when it comes, and when she turns to see Ventus, she beams.]

Ventus! [And the Pokémon can wait a moment as Emmeryn hikes up her skirts and hurries to open the gate around the yard, not even closing it entirely behind her so she can have her arms open for Ventus. Come give your mother a hug!!!]

[ At least she's never difficult to find, so that made his journey less...time-consuming. Plus he probably used his heart as his guiding key, and all that sappy goody goodness.

The blond practically flings himself into Emmeryn's arms, snuggling against her tight as his own reach to wrap around her. A content smile is easily spotted on the blond's face, and he's filled with the utmost amount of joy in this moment. ]

I missed you sooo much...

[ Seriously, he did. It wasn't the same without his new mom-friend around (he's definitely sure Emmeryn and Aqua are going to get along real swell.) He does pull back just a tad to look up at her, blue eyes a little tired from immediately pitching off after the final battle, but ultimately bright and happy as ever. ]

It really feels like ages since the last time we see each other, y'know?
