[A mistake was made in letting Clover borrow Papyrus's racecar bed. A mistake was made in letting Clover anywhere near a racecar. Or a car in general? Why does it drive??? Why is Clover driving it?????
Clover is driving it because road trips are a vital part of being in a place that has roads, and how else are they supposed to check important items off the list of vital surface experiences Clover's been keeping in the meantime? It includes important things like "McDonald's," "beaches," "more glitter polish," and "roller coasters," because Clover's a girl who's got her priorities in order. Not that being underground wasn't and wouldn't have continued to be totally worth it just to stick with Undyne, but Clover missed things like sunlight, and owning things that weren't waterlogged surface garbage, and fast food that doesn't have Mettaton's face on it, and driving. The surface absolutely did not miss Clover's driving.
So anyway here comes the horrible glittery gruesome twosome, running red lights and taking turns way too sharply en route to their latest bout of mischief.]
Pretty sure the city's bigger than, like, the entire underground! [casually hollered over the sound of someone laying on their horn at her wonder why anyone would be doing that] We could probably get lost just, like, looking at things. [don't sound so excited it's already been proven that this isn't enough supervision???]
